Let’s face it: college is a highly stressful time for pretty much everyone. You spend your weekdays attending hours of classes and working hard on your studies. And when you finally get a break on the weekend? Naturally, you go out like most other college students. It’s good to take a break every once in a while from your packed schedule and just spend a night alone, relaxing. Today, we’ve planned your relaxing night in accompanied with some of our favorite product suggestions.
So, you’ve finished classes for the day and, for once, you don’t have piles of homework and studying to take on. Or maybe you do, but you deserve to treat yourself so save the books for tomorrow. Tonight is your night to unwind. What’s the best way to relax during a night in, you ask? Our favorite is to take a long, warm bubble bath. But first, grab a pint of Boom Chocolatta Cookie Core Ben & Jerry’s ice cream to satisfy your sweet tooth while you unwind. A hot cup of herbal tea with a squeeze of fresh lemon will also help you relax if you’re not in the mood to indulge in some ice cream.
Now, you need to set the mood before you relax in the bath with your tasty pint of ice cream or your hot cup of tea. Candles are the perfect way to add ambiance to any room. Our favorites are the Lavender Shortbread and Oatmeal Cookie from Anthropologie’s Boulangerie Jar line. And what’s a bubble bath without any bubbles? Burt’s Bees Baby Bee Bubble Bath smells heavenly and is the perfect scent to accompany your bath. Turn on some soft, acoustic music and your relaxing, bubble bath scene is set.
What are your supposed to do with your time in the bath? Meditation has been a proven way to relax and clear your mind. Taking the time to just sit back, close your eyes and just be can be extremely beneficial to your overall health. If you’re not into meditating, however, you can always pick up a good book and spend your time reading. Grab a copy of “Bossypants” by Tina Fey or “#GIRLBOSS” by Sophia Amoruso and dive into these best-selling books. Trust us, they won’t disappoint.
And those are our suggestions for a relaxing night, in. Have any more ideas? Don’t hesitate to shoot us an email.
